I wish I could bottle the magic of the first session - that moment a child who’s been struggling finally smiles.
It surprises parents every time.
But that first smile matters.
It means their guard is down.
It means they feel safe.
And that’s when learning can finally begin.
That’s why my first session is always about building trust - it's like magic.
Tutoring with me is more than the levels - it's about giving your child the confidence and tools they need to learn well. I want to see them shine, to come alive around learning and to believe in their own abilities again.
You know your child best and want them to reach their full potential — however that looks for them. That’s why I love taking the time to speak with you before we begin. It gives me a precious insight into what makes your child wonderfully unique.
Their hobbies and interests, their personality, what motivates them…
These things matter just as much as the areas where they need a little extra help.
When I understand your child as a whole, everything we do together becomes more meaningful, more personal and far more effective.

Group Tutoring
Sessions that spark ideas, build skills and help children thrive together.
There’s something powerful about learning in a small group. Children bounce ideas off one another, share their creativity, discover new strategies and grow braver every week.
These groups are the perfect balance of support and challenge, encouraging children to speak up, try new things and learn without the fear of getting things wrong.
These sessions are active, hands-on and full of short-burst activities that keep children engaged from start to finish. Whether it’s writing or maths, we explore ideas together, use exciting hooks, videos, games and practical tasks that make learning click. Children cheer each other on, collaborate naturally and develop a confidence they often don’t find working alone.
Group learning builds independence, resilience and a real zest for learning — while still giving every child the space they need to shine.
I have two Writing and two Maths groups running a week.
Powering Up Writing (Creative writing)
Tuesday: 5:00–6:00pm
Friday: 4:00-5:00pm
Creative writing brought to life through themed adventures, exciting hooks, videos, crafts and storytelling. Children grow their vocabulary, develop ideas together and produce writing they feel proud of — all in a fun, confidence-building space.
Maths Unscrambled (Making maths simple)
Tuesday: 6:40–7:40pm
Wednesday: 5:45-6:45pm
Making maths simple, visual and hands-on. Children explore concepts through games, challenges and short, engaging activities that develop number sense, reasoning and real confidence — without the pressure.
1:1 Tutoring
Personalised, high-energy learning that brings out the best in your child.
1:1 sessions are where your child gets exactly what they need — no overwhelm, no pressure, no “I can’t do this” allowed. We replace that with confidence, curiosity, laughter and a whole lot of small wins.
Every child is different, so every session looks different.
Sometimes I’m nurturing, sometimes I’m tough love — but always in the way that supports your child best. We set boundaries around negative self-talk, we embrace mistakes, and we turn challenges into tiny, doable steps.
Whether it’s reading, writing or maths, we break big skills into short, practical bursts that make everything feel achievable. Sessions are hands-on, interactive and full of movement, visuals and creative ideas that help learning “click.”
We don’t shy away from the tricky stuff — we simply make it make sense.
And that moment when your child realises something that once felt impossible is suddenly easy?
That’s where confidence grows.
